Private Equity Search Partner

Executive Search | Private Equity | Financial Services

London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

£80,000 - £120,000 + Bonus + Profit Share + Equity Opportunity

Permanent People are looking for an experienced Executive Search professional, Practice Lead or Director to build and lead a Private Equity search practice within a fast-growing boutique firm.

The role

We are partnering with an ambitious boutique executive search firm that's quickly establishing itself within financial services. With a team of just five people, they've already built an impressive reputation and are now looking for someone to launch and grow their Private Equity practice.

They currently operate in the EMEA region, with plans to expand to the US and APAC.

If you've ever wanted to build something with genuine backing, without corporate politics or endless internal meetings, this could be exactly that opportunity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
