Private Events Sales Executive

Sales Executive (Private Events) – Permanent

Location: Can be remote, or hybrid working (3 days/week at East London office) Hours: Full time (40 hours/week) Salary: £29,000 per annum + commission

About The Big Bakes

We're The Big Bakes, the UK’s No.1 baking experience, and we’re on the rise! With award-winning venues across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool (and more on the way), we turn ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences.

From corporate team-building to birthday celebrations and brand activations, our private events are at the heart of what we do. As we grow, we’re looking for a driven, ambitious Sales Executive to help us sell out our venues with the most brilliant private events in the country.

The Role

You’ll join our Private Events sales team, supporting the Private Events Sales Lead in converting inbound enquiries and proactively generating B2B private event bookings across the UK.

This is the perfect role for a genuine hunter who loves the thrill of closing a deal, enjoys making clients happy, and is passionate about turning events into amazing experiences—with a cherry on top!

You’ll have clear targets, a structured commission scheme, and the full team support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Proactively identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities, covering corporate team-building, large-scale private events, and more.
  • Convert inbound enquiries quickly and efficiently, guiding clients seamlessly through the booking process with warmth and expertise.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking activity and accurately forecasting future bookings.
  • Work towards structured weekly and monthly sales targets, focusing on booking volume and revenue growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
