Private Family Paralegal – Central London

Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)

A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Private Family Paralegal to join their thriving Family Department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors and partners, supporting a broad range of privately funded family matters. The firm offers hybrid working and genuine long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors and partners on a broad range of private family matters.
  • Support cases involving divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
  • Prepare court bundles, legal documents, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
  • Manage files efficiently in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Provide administrative and legal support throughout the lifecycle of matters.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Family Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
  • Experience supporting privately funded family law matters.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • A proactive and professional approach to client care.
  • A genuine desire to develop a long-term career within Family Law.
