Overview

Our client is a leading global private markets platform seeking to appoint a Private Funds Lawyer to its London legal team. Having established itself as a recognised leader within the private markets ecosystem, the business is now entering an exciting new phase of international expansion. Significant investment across its global platform is creating exceptional opportunities for ambitious lawyers to broaden their experience, take on increasing responsibility and grow alongside a market-leading organisation.

You'll join a highly regarded and commercially minded legal team, working at the forefront of private markets and advising on a broad range of fund formation, product structuring and distribution matters across private equity, private credit and other alternative investment strategies.

For lawyers early in their career, this offers the opportunity to learn from experienced in-house lawyers, gain meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders and establish yourself within a business with a clear long-term growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the launch, structuring and distribution of private markets products across a global platform.
  • Advise on a broad range of private funds, alternative investment and asset management matters in a highly commercial environment.
  • Partner directly with business, product and leadership teams to support strategic initiatives, new offerings and international growth projects.
  • Gain exposure to complex cross-border matters while working alongside experienced lawyers and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Help shape the legal infrastructure supporting a rapidly expanding global business operating at the forefront of private markets.

About You

  • Qualified lawyer in the UK (England & Wales), Luxembourg or the US.
  • 1-5 years' PQE.
  • Experience across private funds, asset management or alternative investments gained in private practice and/or in-house.
  • Commercially astute with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Enthusiastic about the continued growth of private markets and the increasing adoption of alternative investments across institutional and wealth channels.
