About Us
Well Life Clinic is a modern, CQC-registered private GP practice with sites in Oxted and Cobham, Surrey. We are opening our new site in St Albans, led by senior GPs, we are dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care to patients who want timely appointments, extended consultations, and a more personal healthcare experience.
We provide a comprehensive range of services spanning general practice, specialist referrals, preventative health, and targeted health assessments and offer same-day appointments on Monday to Friday 08:30–18:30 and Saturday 08:30–12:30.
Our care reflects a commitment to treating every patient as an individual, not a number. Our clinical team is selected from among the most experienced GPs, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of safety, compassion, and responsiveness.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced GP to join Well Life Clinic as a sessional associate, working regular sessions at our St Albans site. The ideal candidate will be embedded in our clinical team whilst sharing in the culture and governance of a growing private practice.
This is a self-employed, hourly-paid arrangement rather than a salaried post, offering the flexibility of sessional working without the isolation of locum life. We are looking for someone who wants to genuinely be part of the team – including attending clinical meetings, contributing to service development, and building continuity with a regular patient group.
Session patterns are flexible and therefore don’t need to be identical each week, however we are looking for a consistent, ongoing commitment rather than ad hoc cover. We are particularly looking for clinicians who have availability on Tuesday, Friday and/or Saturday mornings

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
