Sales Specialist – Private Markets & Private Credit (London)

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Specialist to join a fast-growing technology-driven solutions provider to the global investment industry. Operating at the forefront of digital transformation, the firm delivers sophisticated portfolio, risk management, and credit monitoring solutions supporting over £1.2 trillion in client assets under management (AUM).

As a dedicated Sales Specialist based in London, you will play a critical role in accelerating business growth across the UK and continental European markets. This high-impact, lead-level position is tailored for an expert in relationship and solution selling, capable of driving revenue within large accounts by leveraging a market-leading platform to transform how the world’s top financial institutions analyze and manage their investments.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the entire sales and business development lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, pipeline nurturing, and deal closing.
  • Identifying progressive buyers and driving revenue growth with:
    • Private credit funds
    • Investment banks
    • Alternative asset managers
  • Designing and executing targeted sales strategies, including:
    • Developing and managing robust account plans
    • Guiding a high-value sales pipeline to exceed financial targets
  • Cultivating and securing long-term client relationships, including:
    • Senior executives
    • Chief Financial Officers (CFOs and equivalentes)
    • Other CXOs within the private markets financial landscape
  • Collaborating with internal product teams to:
    • Gather key private markets feedback
    • Drive product requests and enhancement initiatives

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in financial technology sales or business development, with a strong established network in UK and European markets.
  • A deep understanding of:
    • Private markets landscape
    • Private credit funds
    • Asset management and investment banking operations
  • A proven track record in:
    • Relationship and solution selling
    • Closing complex, large-ticket B2B SaaS deals (preferably £500k+ AUM/SaaS).
  • Exceptional communication skills to:
    • Present technical solutions confidently
    • Demonstrate value-add to senior financial professionals
  • A strong technical and operational grasp of:
    • Financial products
    • Portfolio and risk management technology
    • Leverage management or credit monitoring processes
