Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

The hospital is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals and has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Renacres Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our Private Patient Team. You will assist the Private Patient Team to grow self-pay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets.
To effectively manage consultant relationships to ensure the private patient experience is consistently delivered. This interaction will be across all channels; in person, on the telephone and in writing. To be measured through patient satisfaction, compliments and/or complaints whilst undertaking analysis of private activity in order to maximise revenue generation.
What you’ll do:
- Take responsibility for the timely provision of quotes within the hospital
- Provide support for primary contact for the National Enquiry Centre and key stakeholders
- Book consultation appointments in clinics for private patients
- Provide accurate cost information to patients following their consultation regarding any onward intervention (estimated quote provided by enquiry centre prior to consultation).
- Provide quotes for patients to make an informed decision to the Enquiry Centre
- Ensure outpatient clinics are followed up to retain patients who are converting to surgery
- Ensure all records and reports are maintained and kept up to date
- Ensure relevant information is forwarded to all interested parties involved in the patient pathway
- Assist if required by following up quotes given and see if further information needed
- Ensuring insurance authorisation details are complete and accurate so planned treatment can go ahead.

What you’ll bring with you:
- Marketing and/or Sales experience
- Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to discharge
- Sound Computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web-based reporting
- Confident in engaging with a variety of people particularly in a high-end setting
- Excellent communication skills both face to face, over the phone, and in writing
- Articulate with the highest standard of personal presentation
