Private Physician to UHNW Family – Maritime Operations

Head Medical Officer (Maritime) – Ultra-High-Net-Worth Family Deployment (UHNW)

This permanent position is for an elite medical professional to provide uncompromising, confidential care to a prominent ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family. The ideal candidate must demonstrate:

  • Exceptional clinical judgment
  • Supreme discretion
  • Autonomous clinical leadership outside standard hospital environments

About the Role

You will serve as the principal medical authority during the family’s extended maritime deployments across the Mediterranean, operating across multiple locations, including:

  • Private residences
  • Ports in Italy, Monaco, Greek Islands, Mallorca, Marbella, Ibiza, and the Algarve

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ongoing health management
  • Emergency response on both land and sea
  • Full discretion in all medical decisions regarding UHNW clients
  • Ensuring a bespoke, white-glove medical experience with absolute privacy guaranteed

Requirements

Academic Pedigree

  • Hold a medical qualification recognised by a governing body in:
    • North America (USA/Canada)
    • Europe (UK, Ireland, or other EU/EEA nations)
    • Australasia (Australia/New Zealand)

Experience Threshold

  • At least 5 years of dedicated post-specialization practice in a relevant medical field

Clinical Focus

  • Specialist expertise in:
    • Family Medicine
    • Emergency Medicine
    • Internal Medicine

Language Proficiency

  • Perfectly fluent in English (both written and spoken) for seamless communication with clients and crew
