Our Private Shopping team are now looking for a Runner to help deliver an exceptional five-star dining experience within The Penthouse. This is a fast-paced, service-driven role where you will support the waiting team, maintain flawless operational standards, and ensure guests enjoy a seamless and memorable visit. The position offers a competitive salary of £32,500, reflecting the importance of this role within our luxury retail environment.
About the Role
As a Private Shopping Runner, you will work closely with Supervisors and Assistant Managers to support the full operation of our luxury F&B service. You’ll play an essential part in maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and bar teams, delivering dishes quickly and accurately, and ensuring all lounge and suite spaces are prepared to the highest standard.
Your focus will be operational excellence, keeping service flowing effortlessly, anticipating needs, and upholding Harrods’ world-class standards at all times.
In this role, you will:
- Support daily opening and closing duties.
- Deliver food promptly from kitchen to bar and maintain clear communication.
- Set up, clear, and maintain tables across lounges and suites.
- Keep your station and bar areas running smoothly during service.
- Maintain bar back stock levels and assist Waiters & Kitchen Porters.
- Report complaints, maintenance issues, and safety concerns promptly.
- Greet guests warmly and ensure attentive, efficient service throughout their visit.
