Private Wealth Associate (Mid-Level)
Location: London
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Wealth Associate to join the growing London team of a leading international law firm. The team advises ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, trustees, and entrepreneurs on complex cross-border wealth structuring, succession planning, and trust matters.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated international private client work and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded practice known for its technical excellence, commercial approach, and long-standing client relationships.
The Role
You will advise on a wide variety of private wealth matters, including:
- International and domestic tax, trust, and estate planning for wealthy individuals and families
- Cross-border succession planning and inheritance structuring
- Trust establishment, administration, and restructuring
- Advising on offshore structures and wealth-holding vehicles
- UK tax considerations affecting internationally mobile individuals
- Drafting and reviewing wills, trust documentation, and related legal instruments
- Advising trustees, settlors, protectors, and beneficiaries on trust-related matters
- Supporting clients with business succession and long-term wealth preservation strategies

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers while enjoying significant client contact and responsibility from an early stage.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Strong experience in private client, trusts, and tax matters
- A solid understanding of UK taxation affecting high-net-worth and internationally mobile individuals
- Experience advising on trusts, estates, succession planning, and wealth structuring
- Excellent drafting and technical legal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to client advice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive attitude towards business development and networking
