About the Role
Nottingham Trent University is seeking an outstanding academic leader to shape the future of its education and student experience agenda.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) will provide clear strategic leadership for education across the University, ensuring that NTU continues to deliver academically rigorous, inclusive and future-focused courses that support student success. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and President and working as a member of the University Executive Team, the role involves leading the development and delivery of NTU’s education strategy, including:
- Learning, teaching and assessment
- Academic quality
- Student outcomes
- Digital learning
- Portfolio development
- Employability
- Student voice
- The wider student experience aggregate
The successful candidate will bring:
- A deep understanding of educational excellence, academic quality, pedagogy, student outcomes, and the regulatory environment
- Experience in leading major change in a complex institution
- The ability to work across academic and professional services teams
- Utilisation of data and insight to improve practices
- Building trusted relationships with students and colleagues
- Representing NTU with credibility across the sector
