LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT

At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re in the top 5% of utility companies worldwide for employee engagement, and we’re equally proud of our strong Glassdoor score — reflecting how much our people enjoy working here.

Join us and help make a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued, trusted and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.

LET’S TELL YOU MORE

We’re looking for a PRIME Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of proactive and reactive maintenance activities across our Wastewater Recycling assets within the Eastern region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technicians, ensuring our critical assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently. You'll play a key role in driving asset performance, reducing operational risk and delivering long-term improvements that support environmental compliance and customer service.

As PRIME Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of maintenance strategies that maximise asset availability, improve reliability and reduce the whole-life cost of our equipment. Working closely with Operations, Reliability, Asset Care and Capital Delivery teams, you’ll ensure maintenance activities are prioritised effectively and that interventions are completed before failures occur wherever possible.

A major focus of the role will be leading and developing proactive maintenance approaches, including condition monitoring, asset health assessments and predictive maintenance activities. You'll champion a "replace before failure" mindset, ensuring maintenance decisions are driven by data, risk and operational need.

You’ll also lead the delivery of insourced maintenance and improvement activities, identifying opportunities to bring more work in-house and reduce reliance on external contractors. Through strong leadership and technical expertise, you'll create a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes safely and efficiently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
