Summary:
eXmoor Pharma is the only integrated cell and gene therapy CDMO with over 20 years of consultancy expertise embedded across every stage of the CMC journey — from early-phase strategy to process development, GMP manufacturing and commercialisation. We provide comprehensive support across Viral Vectors, Autologous and Allogeneic Cell Therapies, and RNA technologies. This integrated model enables seamless progression from early-phase strategy through to commercial readiness.
We are looking for a talented Process Architect to complete architectural projects within the Capital Projects Group. This individual will have experience working in all RIBA projects stages 1-7 from strategic definition through to concept, technical design, construction, validation and handover to the client.
The Process Architect will oversee the entire design process and may work on several concurrent projects at the same time. Must have proven experience interacting directly with clients to extract design briefs and present design proposals.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with eXmoor’s globally recognised team of scientists, consultants, and engineers, on a wide range of Client projects in a rapidly growing market. eXmoor Pharma have an excellent track record of completed capital projects primarily in Biopharmaceutical, Cell and Gene Therapy projects.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for providing architectural designs working in conjunction with eXmoor’s Process Engineers, HVAC engineers, QP’s and Consultants to deliver GMP compliant designs.
The Process Architect delivers projects in line with the Capital Project core objectives including all existing and any new services. Meeting team objectives will include a programme of continuous improvement as a Group.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered ARB Architect
- RIBA Membership or recognised equivalent
- Degree and Post Graduate qualifications (RIBA Parts 1-3 or recognised equivalent)
- Extensive (minimum 10 years) previous architectural experience (RIBA Stages 0-3) for domestic and international projects.
- AutoCad and Revit 3D design capability in order to contribute to the facility layout and planning process
- Knowledge of industrial and clean room / area classification design, pharmaceutical and biotechnological containment, equipment layout, building services design including sophisticated HVAC/airlock requirements, people and material flow and facility validation, operation, and maintenance requirements.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes.
- Successfully carried out a similar role on several major / complex projects in Europe / Globally

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Biopharmaceutical facility design experience RIBA Stages 0-7
- Cell and Gene Therapy facility design from project definition to handover
- Knowledge of cGMP and implications on facility design
- Strategic (Master) Planning experience
- Knowledge of suitable architectural AI packages such as Archsyth or HakoBio etc to improve the quality and speed of architectural deliverables.

- AutoCad and Revit 3D design excellence essential in order to contribute to the facility layout and planning process
