Business Analyst – Process Automation, AS-IS/TO-BE
Contact Centre | GCP | Power BI | AI/LLM | Financial Services Location: London Contract Rate: £525 p.d (outside IR35) | Initial 6-month contract
About the Role
My client, a leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking a ** Business Analyst** to take the lead on a Contact Centre Process Automation project.
You will:
- Automate data flows between Salesforce, Equation, and GCP tables.
- Develop Power BI dashboards based on defined rules and logic.
- Optimise operational workflows and case creation using AI/LLM.
The role involves:
- Collaborating with operations, data, and technology stakeholders to capture current-state (AS-IS) processes.
- Designing target-state (TO-BE) solutions.
- Defining requirements for automation and dashboarding.
- Creating high-quality process models and solution design artefacts.
- Remaining hands-on through build, testing, training, and sustainable support.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead process automation and workflow transformation within Financial Services, particularly in contact centres.
- Conduct deep analysis of operational processes, mapping AS-IS and designing TO-BE solutions.
- Define requirements for data automation integrating GCP and AI/LLM.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather insights and formalise end-to-end process improvements.
- Oversee the technical build, testing, and go-live activities.
- Ensure smooth training and sustainable support post implementation.
Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst specialising in automation and workflow transformation, ideally in **Financial Services}.
- Strong background in operational process analysis and process mapping:
- Deep hands-on experience producing AS-IS and TO-BE designs.
- Proficiency in defining and communicating process improvements.
- Experience with contact centre workflows and optimisation approaches.
- Proven experience delivering data automation using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of AI/LLM integrations for operational workflows.
- Experience defining Power BI dashboarding requirements and designing data-driven solutions.

Note: Full-time equivalent salary context: £525 p.d refers to a low billable rate. Typical equivalent full-time salary in this UK sector would be significantly higher.
