Who are we?

Seloxium Limited is a dynamic and diverse spin-out company from the University of Oxford. We are revolutionising clean growth and the circular economy within the mining & refining sectors by selectively recovering high-value metals from in-process or effluent water streams. Our multi-patented ‘selective flocculation' technology will change the way we mine, refine and process these metals, offering a greener and more sustainable solution to metallic resource recovery and reuse.

We are a fast-paced company at an exciting stage of development, scaling our operations across two sites — an R&D laboratory and back office function in Oxford, and a pilot processing plant in the North East of England. As we grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Analytical / Lab Support Chemist to be a key player in our innovative journey in Teesside. In this hands-on role, you'll support a wide range of laboratory activities, from routine analyses to assisting with the development of advanced selective extraction methods. Your contributions will directly impact the advancement of our Selectal™ technology and help us maintain our position at the forefront of Aqua Mining.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
