If you enjoy improving processes, supporting production teams, and turning data into practical results, the Process Engineer role will put your skills to strong use, with plenty of room to learn, collaborate and progress in the Automotive sector.
What You Will Do:
- Drive continuous improvement using proven improvement tools to deliver solutions that improve performance.
- Optimise tools and working methods to achieve minimum cycle time while maintaining high quality standards.
- Partner with production teams to boost efficiency and effectiveness across the department.
- Contribute to improvement workstreams such as TPM, HOSHIN, SMED and QRCI, helping teams implement meaningful change.
- Use analysis to improve shop stock layout and efficiencies, supporting better transfer methods to shop stock locations.
- Provide line balancing data and support standard operations and technical training programmes, including development around polyvalence and task transfer.

What You Will Bring:
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to coach others and support effective teamwork.
- A practical understanding of Health and Safety law regulations and Quality management systems (basic knowledge is a great start).
- An engineering degree (or equivalent relevant background) that supports structured problem-solving.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, using data and collaboration to deliver clear outcomes.
- Experience with improvement tools and standardising processes, or a genuine enthusiasm to develop those skills quickly.
This Process Engineer role sits within the manufacturing and production improvement space, supporting this company's drive to improve plant performance, build capability across teams, and deliver cost savings through smarter ways of working.
