Job Description
DP World is seeking a Process Engineer to join our expanding operation in Coventry. In this role, you will lead and support the development of innovative concepts for customer proposals, including process flow diagrams, KPI frameworks, and facility layouts for complex solutions, working closely with the Solutions team. You will also take ownership of designing end-to-end supply chain solutions—ranging from large-scale network designs to detailed process and station-level layouts—supporting client growth and driving DP World’s operational optimisation and performance KPIs.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead and support the development of engineering concepts for customer proposals, including process flow diagrams, KPIs, and facility layouts, working with the Solutions team on complex designs
- Design and optimise end-to-end supply chain solutions, from high-level network design through to detailed process and station layouts, supporting client growth and DP World performance KPIs
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Account Management, Launch, and Operations teams to shape robust, deliverable solutions
- Present technical solutions to customers through proposals, presentations, and conference calls alongside commercial and account teams
- Support and, where required, lead solution implementation at project launch, including master data setup, process validation, infrastructure works, and onsite contractor coordination
- Act as the engineering interface across regional and operational teams during RFQ, design, and go-live phases to ensure alignment and delivery
- Translate high-level operational briefs into clear, executable engineering solutions and support deployment into live operations
- Act as a problem-solver on site, identifying operational pinch points, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
- Support training and capability development of site-based engineering teams and embed regional standards across operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including MTM/MOST process reviews and operational optimisation activities
- Ensure accurate, data-driven reporting to demonstrate engineering impact and performance contribution

What You Will Bring
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical engineering experience
- Proven experience in supply chain, operations, or industrial engineering environments with project delivery exposure
- Lean and Six Sigma practitioner with strong continuous improvement capability
- Strong proficiency in engineering and design tools including AutoCAD (2D/3D), Visio or equivalent, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills including pivots and formulas)
- Experience in process design, operational analysis, and implementation of engineering solutions in live environments
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and present effectively at all levels, including customers
- Strong analytical ability with confidence in interpreting data and drawing clear, actionable conclusions
- Collaborative and adaptable working style, with the ability to work independently or within cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Detail-oriented, structured, and highly organised with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable with travel across Europe (10–25%) for site-based support and audits
