About the Company

We partner with a global industrial electronics manufacturer seeking a Process Engineer to join their growing engineering team, driving operational excellence in high-volume production.

This role provides ownership of manufacturing improvement projects, support for new product introduction (NPI), and leadership of continuous improvement initiatives. Key collaborations will be with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to:

  • Boost efficiency
  • Reduce waste
  • Sustain high production growth

The company manufactures thousands of products daily while heavily invests in both talent and production upgrades. Opportunities for long-term development, with a strong track record of promoting internally, are plentiful.

Key Responsibilities of the Process Engineer

  • Optimise manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support new product introductions through seamless integration processes
  • Lead and collaborate on continuous improvement projects
  • Investigate and resolve production/quality issues, implementing solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Production, Quality, Engineering) to drive performance
  • Assist in equipment upgrades, process changes, and major manufacturing projects
  • Play a critical role in waste reduction, output enhancement, and quality standards

Essential Requirements

✔ Experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Process Engineering ✔ Strong background in Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing ✔ Exceptional problem-solving skills ✔ Proven ability to improve processes in a manufacturing or production environment ✔ Familiarity working acrossMultiple business teams

Desirable Qualifications

Preferred but not essential:

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
  • High-volume manufacturing background
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or similar continuous improvement certification
  • Experience in supporting manufacturing projects or equipment upgrades
  • Familiarity with electronics, industrial, or regulated manufacturing
