Process Improvement Specialist
Process Improvement Specialist – UK Distribution Centre
As Coloplast continues to strengthen and evolve its UK Distribution Centre, we are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to play a key role in driving operational performance and continuous improvement. This position sits at the heart of our warehouse operations, supporting both newly implemented automation systems that are due to go live this summer and traditional warehousing activities. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing how operations run, solving complex problems and making a measurable impact in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
The Role
- You will be responsible for identifying, delivering and sustaining performance improvements across warehouse processes, combining data analysis with hands‑on, practical problem‑solving.
- Working closely with managers, analysts, team leaders and technical specialists, you will help identify, plan and implement change initiatives that improve efficiency, cost, quality and flow.
- A key focus will be the optimisation of automation processes, including regular reviews of system parameters, configuration settings, location utilisation, replenishment strategies, stock allocation and picking routes.
- You will monitor system performance, support troubleshooting activities in collaboration with Operations Technicians, and ensure improvements are documented and delivered in line with compliance, QEHS and quality standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
