Process & Operational Excellence Delivery Manager
Head of Lean Transformation – Enable Possibility™

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Implementation
- Lead the overall deployment of a Lean Transformation, owning initiatives and continuous improvement practices.
- Guide the current and future state analysis, implementation plan, and value impact of changes in close collaboration with Business Unit (BU) leadership.
Partnership & Coaching
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with BU leaders to address business priorities and embed continuous improvement in their operations.
- Implement standardised Lean tools to generate insights, drive solutions, and ensure consistent application across value streams and functions.
Accountability & Training
- Ensure performance objectives (as defined in leadership charters) are meet, focusing on delivery and sustainable outcomes.
- Consistently uphold Lean standards across initiatives, aligned with agreed delivery metrics.
- Deliver training and problem-solving sessions for senior leadership and teams to foster ownership.
Sponsorship & People Development
- Coach executive sponsors to elevate their Lean leadership capability.
- Support managers across all levels in embedding Lean principles into their routines and governance.

Reporting & Amplification
- Provide Lean updates and performance reports to senior leadership to inform strategic direction.
- Train teams in prioritising, analysing, and capturing benefits from continuous improvement efforts.
Knowledge Sharing & Evolution
- Advise/mentor AMS (Lean) implementation teams on best practices and refine the AMS playbook.
Role Requirements & Skills
Core Competencies
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
- Self-directed, autonomous, with a strong focus on outcomes and results.
- Exemplary communication (written/verbal), with the ability to engage and present clearly to C-level stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and data analysis skills, with the ability to measure performance and assess impact.
- Adaptability to handle changing priorities while maintaining focus and applying good judgement.
- Ability to multitask efficiently without compromising detail attention.
Practical Lean Application
- Hands-on expertise in core AMS/Lean methodologies, including:
- Process mapping
- Data collection & analysis
- Root cause problem-solving
- Performance frameworks

Leadership & Education
- Project/Program management proficiency (preferably Prince2, Scrum Master, or Agile PM).
- Lean certifications strongly preferred, such as:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Certified Lean Practitioner
- Degree in business or relevant field preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years as a Lean Practitioner with a track record of successfully driving change.
- Experience in Financial Services/Specialty Insurance preferred, particularly in operational management.
- Experience with the deployment and scaling of Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
