Process Operative – Bridgwater Dairy (Müller Milk & Ingredients)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative to join our Process Department at our Bridgwater Dairy within the Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
The role’s purpose is to ensure the smooth running of the:
- Raw milk intake
- Fresh milk processing
- Cream processing
- Cream export reclaim area
- Chemical offload area
This includes performing lab testing to analyse, record, and report results for all required processing tests.
Contract & Hours
- Contract: Full Time (40.25 hours per week)
- Salary: £33,676.37 per annum
- Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, with a 6-hour in-6-hour out rotation)

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include (but is not limited to):
- Checking and recording all relevant paperwork
- Sampling and testing of raw products
- Loading milk tankers
- Liaising with other production departments
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operating equipment and processes effectively:
- Asset care and maintenance
- Maximising output
- Adherence to production plans
- Waste reduction and cost savings
- Undertaking additional duties as required
- Ensuring quality assurance
Required Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Continuous improvement
- Quality assurance
- Manufacturing environment (preferably within food production)
- Production operations (preferably in food manufacturing)
