Process Operative
Process Operative – Dairy (Full-Time)
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Process Operative to join our Process Department at our Bridgwater Dairy as part of Müller Milk & Ingredients.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of:
- Raw milk intake
- Fresh milk processing
- Cream processing
- Cream export reclaim area
- Chemical offload area
Including laboratory testing to analyse, record, and report results for all required processing tests.
- Contract: Full Time (40.25 hours per week)
- Salary: £33,676.37 per annum
- Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (including 2 days and 2 nights)
- Location: Bridgwater

- Checking and recording all relevant paperwork
- Sampling and testing raw products
- Loading tankers
- Liaising with other production departments
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
- Operating equipment effectively, including:
- Asset care
- Maximising production output
- Adherence to production plans
- Waste reduction and cost savings
- Undertaking any additional duties as required
- Assisting with quality assurance
Experience & Requirements
- Background in continuous improvement
- Experience in quality assurance
- Manufacturing experience, ideally in a food environment
- Production experience, preferably within the food industry
