Process Operative Lairage
We are looking for a dedicated Process Operative Lairage to join our Process 1 team A and team C at Pilgrim's Europe - Dungannon. In this role, you will be responsible for processing products in your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs.

Team A
- Working hours are: 05.45 am to 17.45 pm, rotational, as a part of the Process 1 Team A.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 5:45 am - 17:45 pm

Team C
- Working hours are: Monday - Friday 17:45pm - 02:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out processing duties (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering or evisceration - depending on the area of work).
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Produce a high standard of work consistently.
- Perform packaging, labelling, and boxing tasks.
- Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace.
- Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.

Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment provided.
- Report incidents or hazards immediately.
Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read and write.
- Numeracy skills.
- Good communication skills.
- English language proficiency.
Desirable
- Good interpersonal skills.
- A food hygiene qualification.
- Awareness of Food Processing industry standards.
- Knife handling experience.
- Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.
- Data recording or computer/keyboard skills.
