AEM Limited has been Europe's leading independent overhaul and repair facility for more than 60 years. The company has a solid reputation in the aerospace industry for providing a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators, and airframe manufacturers.
We are currently looking for a Process Operative for our Luton site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) equipment
- Operate the curing ovens using the program controllers and chart recorder equipment.
- Ensure that all documentation, oven chart recorders, and work pack travellers are kept up to date.
- Checking of plant equipment at regular intervals in accordance with maintenance check sheets.
- Proactive understanding of calibration needs and dates for all relevant equipment.
- Responsible for the identification and reporting of defective equipment or tooling to team leader/supervisor.
- Take ownership of the department and surrounding areas with respect to the company 5S programme.
