Join our Lamination department and help us deliver high‑quality laminated board products through safe, efficient and modern manufacturing processes.

The Role

As a Production Operator in our Lamination department, you will:

  • Operate as a key member of the lamination team, contributing to a safe and efficient production process.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well‑organised workplace, including machinery, equipment and vehicles.
  • Complete a comprehensive training programme to run all areas of the lamination line — from board/paper preparation and pressing to inspection, banding, forklift operation and warehouse tasks.
  • Attend further training as required at other EGGER UK locations.
  • Accurately complete shift reports, capturing production data, downtime, and other relevant information.
  • Liaise with the Shift Supervisor regarding shift operations, production priorities and any issues affecting output.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices and reporting incidents, hazards or equipment concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues regarding equipment condition, faults or maintenance needs.
  • Provide holiday, sickness, training and maintenance cover as required to support production continuity.

Our Requirements

  • Forklift Truck Licence preferred, though full training will be provided within the first 6 months.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred; however, we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills, enthusiasm to learn, and a commitment to working safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (4 on, 4 off), including nightshifts and providing additional cover when required.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, ensuring product quality and accuracy throughout the lamination process.
  • Shows commitment to safe working practices, consistently following procedures and proactively identifying potential hazards.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues across shifts to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
  • Adapts well to changing production demands, responding positively to new tasks, equipment and training.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, ensuring accurate handovers and effective collaboration with supervisors and engineering teams.
