About the Role
Apply your expertise in process optimisation to revolutionise aircraft manufacturing. As a Process Performance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and enhancing industrial workflows on the A320neo Wing production line at Airbus Belfast.
You’ll partner with a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team, leveraging your skills to streamline operations, boost efficiency and ensure on-time delivery. This is a game-changing opportunity for someone passionate about engineering and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Define optimal shop-floor sequences: Collaborate early to embed Line Balancing (SLB) optimisation, ensuring alignment with Planning & operational constraints.
- Ensure delivery within Takt: Deploy resources efficiently (SLBs, LB releases) and monitor continuous improvement to enhance performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Linched Balancing as standard: Set up and maintain Line Balancing as standard practice, supporting efficiency monitoring from early Planning through to industrial production.
- Increase Line Efficiency: Optimise granularity & time allocation, minimising white/red space for maximum productivity.
- Maximise value on the critical path: Prioritise process improvements in critical areas.

About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Core Degree: Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent: HND/HNC or NVQ)
- Industry Experience: Proven expertise in aerospace or automotive manufacturing, with strong understanding of aerospace standards
- Specialisation: Knowledge of Line Balancing techniques or production optimisation is highly desirable
- Impact Driven: Track record of driving continuous improvement in complex environments
