Reporting to the Technical Training Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for the governance, integrity, and effective use of our learning systems, helping to deliver high-quality management information that enables informed decision-making across the business. You'll act as a key link between Technical Training, operational stakeholders, and external training providers, driving continuous improvement and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The role is hybrid with our base office in Eakring with an expectation to be in the office up to 3 times a week. Please note you must have a full UK driving license and live within an hour's commutable distance of Eakring to be considered for the role.

What you'll do

As a Technical Training Process & Planning Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary operational interface between Technical Training, Training Support Teams, Training & Competence teams, and wider business stakeholders.
  • Managing and continuously improving relationships with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring external training is delivered effectively, compliantly, and in line with contractual requirements.
  • Taking ownership of Learning Management System (LMS) processes, ensuring learner data and training records are accurate, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
  • Leading LMS data quality activities, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support business performance and informed decision-making.
  • Producing, analysing, and interpreting training and learning data, delivering meaningful insights that help shape future improvements.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of robust processes, governance frameworks, and best practice across Technical Training.
  • Resolving complex LMS and Learning Portal issues, providing expert guidance and escalating where appropriate.
  • Supporting LMS configuration and assignment profile management, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Contributing to the resilience of the wider team by supporting colleagues during periods of change, peak demand, and business priorities.
  • Championing a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to a small team, supporting their development and success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
