Process Technician

We are looking for a driven Process Technician to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).

Salary: £36,271.07 pa (Basic £32,973.70 with a shift allowance of £3,297.37)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Shifts:

  • Day: 06:00 to 18:00
  • Night: 18:00 to 06:00

Role: Permanent

About the Role

As a Process Technician, you'll be at the centre of the manufacturing operation, ensuring every batch of juice, smoothie and beverage is produced safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.

No two shifts are the same as a Process Technician, you'll be:

  • Weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Preparing recipes
  • Carrying out quality checks
  • Making sure production has everything it needs to keep running smoothly whilst working to detailed instructions
  • Involved in handling raw materials, moving ingredients into position
  • Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised and safe throughout your shift

Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will be someone who enjoys taking ownership and staying one step ahead. You'll manage your own production area, monitor stock levels, plan ahead to avoid downtime and work closely with colleagues to keep production moving efficiently. If you're someone who enjoys a hands-on role, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes satisfaction in seeing the finished product roll off the production line, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and mixing ingredients accurately to meet production requirements
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Handling raw materials, including moving and lifting drums up to 25kg
  • Monitoring production flow and planning ahead to avoid delays
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Working independently while taking ownership of your area
