Processing Operator at Ocker Hill Factory, Tipton, UK

We are now looking for a Processing Operator at our Ocker Hill Factory in Tipton, UK, to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages.
Your role in the blend:
As a Processing Operator, you'll be at the heart of our process - ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step. You'll work alongside a dedicated team, following best practices and contributing to a clean, safe, and high-performing process environment.
In this role, you will:
- Unpack and decant ingredients for production, recording the correct traceability codes and ensuring all materials are correctly labelled and accounted for.
- Produce a variety of sauces, including BBQ, salsas, condiments, curries, and speciality blends, by accurately mixing ingredients, and perform quality checks on finished products, documenting results and reporting any abnormalities to senior team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the process area, carrying out 'clean as you go' (CAYG) practices and supporting the Kitchen Supervisor and Team Leader with hygiene schedules and waste management.
- Operate in full compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and Health and Safety Management System (SHE), always adhering to PPE guidelines and promptly reporting any issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with your team, contribute to briefings, and actively support team goals - including optimising processing performance and upholding world-class production standards.

- A proactive approach to health, safety and hygiene - you understand the importance of PPE, risk awareness and always maintaining a clean working environment.
