Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Support the procurement function to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and commercially optimal purchasing of goods and services.
- Optimise resource allocation and processes, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to drive cost savings.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement workflows and best purchasing practices.
Supplier Relations
- Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving queries efficiently and fostering strong working relationships.
- Monitor and maximise commercial opportunities, such as pricing structures and rebate negotiations.
- Ensure suppliers meet compliance and performance standards.
Order & System Management
- Process purchase orders and expedite deliveries to meet strict deadlines and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier agreements and ERP system details.
- Manage the purchasing side of the ERP system—updating material codes, pricing lists, and user permissions.

Requirements
Experience
- Essential: Administrative experience in a professional setting.
Qualifications
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation.
Desirable
- Experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong IT skills, particularly advanced proficiency with Excel (data analysis, spreadsheets).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
