Procurement Analyst Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Analyst to join a well-established commercial organisation on a 9-month interim contract. Based in Milton Keynes, this hybrid role offers the chance to work within a dynamic procurement function, delivering critical spend analysis, reporting, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
This position is ideal for a data-driven procurement professional who enjoys turning complex information into actionable commercial recommendations.
Your new role
As Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting procurement and commercial teams through robust analysis, reporting, and supplier performance insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing spend analysis, procurement dashboards, KPI reporting, and management information
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities, supplier trends, and procurement risks through data analysis
- Supporting sourcing and category management initiatives with market and spend insights
- Maintaining procurement data, supplier records, and reporting accuracy
- Developing reports and presentations for procurement and senior stakeholders
- Monitoring supplier performance and contract compliance metrics
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and systems
- Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, procurement, and operational teams

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Procurement Analyst, Procurement Support, Spend Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Purchasing Analyst role
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, reporting, and data manipulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with procurement, finance, or ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CIPS qualification or progression towards CIPS would be advantageous
