About the Role

Procurement and Contract Management Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement and Contract Management Team! You’ll play an active role in a range of procurement and contract management activities, getting hands-on experience with The Procurement Act, and exposing yourself to diverse council services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional procurement advice, guidance, and expertise across the council
  • Manage operational delivery of low-value tenders across various aspects of our operations
  • Oversee the operation of Procurement Category Boards
  • Support performance data collection for procurement strategy and service improvements
  • Champion our "One Hounslow" brand and identity, fostering community cohesion while making us a powerful voice for borough residents

Join a team driving end-to-end procurement processes, including pre-market engagement, specification development, and implementation, plus contract management.

    • Interpersonal excellence—the ability to foster relationships is key
