NHS Wales Shared Services Procurement
NHS Wales Shared Services Procurement is an established Procurement Service assisting the Health Boards and Trusts across Wales to deliver patient-centred services. We are an award-winning service focusing on value, safety, excellence, innovation, and quality. Our aim is to have seamless procurement processes in place that release clinical time to focus on patient care and develop a value-based procurement approach based around patient outcomes.
Procurement Business Officer
Procurement Services have a vacant Procurement Business Officer position. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your procurement career in a dynamic, challenging, and high-profile environment.
The post works at both a national and local level with a focus on Fleet and Transport.

- Contributes to being the interface of Procurement between NWSSP Local Procurement and our customers and will assist in representing the function at various levels.
- Assists in informing on the status/priority of category work plans across the Trust.
- Involves liaison with user departments and NWSSP at all levels to promote procurement input into partner organisations’ business plans at the earliest opportunity.
- Supports the Procurement Business Manager in the provision of a professional procurement service to the Trust contributing to the development and achievement of the NWSSP Business plan.
- Supports the Procurement Business Manager on procurement issues and on key projects.
Language
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Working Arrangements
NWSSP work in an agile way where possible, all posts will have a contractual base but as part of agile ways of working that may mean working from home and other locations. We also look at how we balance flexibility with community, and how to manage opportunities to learn from each other.
