Procurement Business Partner

About You
Alongside technical procurement expertise, we are seeking a dynamic, pragmatic and knowledgeable individual who is solution-focused, with an eye for innovation and are able to ask the right questions at the right time. Central to this are excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability to build and develop professional relationships across the council and beyond.
About The Team
SCC’s Contracting and Procurement service is part of Enabling Services Directorate and aspires to be the ‘best in class’ through creating a cohesive approach to procurement and contract management to deliver value for money from our contracts and expenditure with external suppliers.
The Contracting and Procurement service is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join us in the role of Procurement Business Partner. Managing a small team, this is a key role within Contracting and Procurement and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of providing professional procurement advice on public sector procurement legislation, managing end to end procurement processes in compliance with internal and external procurement rules and regulations, securing value for money through procurement activity and working with stakeholders to plan their procurement requirements.

What We Can Offer You
Salary: The salary band for this role is £47,181 - £51,357 per annum. The starting salary is £47,181 with annual progression through the salary bands.
