Procurement Business Partner – Indirect Procurement
We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner to provide category expertise to the business, facilitating best value procurement aligned with time, cost, and quality imperatives. You will act as a strategic consultant, influencing both internal and external stakeholders while working as part of the Indirect Procurement team. Your role will involve upholding high professional standards reflective of the organisation’s standing, fostering positive relationships across matrixed environments through strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
Key Accountabilities
Category Management
- Oversee the procure-to-pay process for Indirect Procurement, including but not limited to:
- Marketing
- Professional Services
- HR
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement cost-saving sourcing strategies to drive supplier performance improvements.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
Contract Management
-Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organisation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal business teams to align procurement activities with business objectives and operational needs.
Process Improvement
- Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive value.
Data Analysis
- Analyse procurement data to:
- Identify trends and cost savings
- Track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Report insights back to the business.

Core Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in Indirect Procurement, with expertise in:
- Marketing
- Professional Services
- HR
- Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
Skills & Competencies
- Negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Procurement software familiarity (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Coupa).
- Strong ability to work in a matrix environment with agile decision-making.
