π Location: Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom (Onsite | Potential Hybrid Flexibility in the Future)

Contract: 12+ Months
πΌ Experience: 1β2 Years (Junior Level)
π· Pay Rate: Β£18 per hour
π Eligibility: Must hold a valid UK Work Permit
Are you an early-career procurement professional looking to grow your expertise in indirect sourcing and supply chain? We are seeking a Buyer Specialist β Indirect Procurement to join a leading global organization and support strategic procurement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- β Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect materials and services
- β Lead sourcing activities from RFQ through purchase order issuance and contract management
- β Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers
- β Drive cost reduction, supplier performance, and process improvements
- β Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- β Negotiate contracts while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
- β Support supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management

Required Skills & Experience
- β Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline
- β 1β2 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain
- β Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and Ariba (Required)
- β Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- β Project management and process improvement experience
- β Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- β Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- β Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
