About the Role
Are you an experienced professional in Procurement within Contract Logistics & Distribution, seeking your next career opportunity?
As a key player in the Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) Global Procurement Team, you’ll work closely with the LEGO Group to drive cost-saving initiatives, enhance supply chain resilience, advance sustainability, mitigate risk, and foster innovation. Your role will involve sourcing sustainable Transport and Warehousing solutions and building expertise in distribution strategy—supporting the LEGO Group’s global expansion into new markets and channels.
Caption: Where could you work? This hybrid role can be based in Billund or London, with an average of 3 days per week in the office as part of the company’s hybrid work policy.

- Drive cost-saving efforts in distribution and logistics spend by leading cross-functional collaborations with partners, finance, and suppliers.

- Act as a Procurement Business Partner to Regional Management, delivering annual category planning and network development.

Supplier Relationship Management
- Develop strategic supplier engagement frameworks with measurable objectives and outcomes.

Contract Negotiation & Maintenance
- Negotiate and manage logistics contracts for warehousing, transportation, and customs services.

Market Insights & Strategy
- Analyze market trends and translate them into data-driven category strategies.

Global Supplier Oversight
- Handle contracting, negotiations, strategic performance management, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.

Sustainability Initiatives
- Champion sustainability and efficiency programs through partnerships with external stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player, adept at navigating complexity and driving results across a global business landscape. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Target qualification: 3-5+ years of experience in Global/Regional procurement, category management.
- Core expertise in:
- Distribution, warehousing, or transportation vendor landscapes
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Contract negotiation of complex agreements
- Understanding of contractual regulations
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to:
- Analyze market insights and convert actionable strategies.
- Drive sustainability trends and automation adoption.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
