Job Description Role Purpose Entain are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Specialist for Retail and Property, to join its growing global business. You’ll be working across the major areas of Retail spend including Property, Retail Technology, Facilities Management, Utilities and shop services. The key purpose of this role is to optimise 3rd party spend on all Retail & Property expenditure across Entain, and support in the creation of short/mid and long-term value optimisation strategies aligned to the objectives of the business. Key Responsibilities Engage Retail & Property community to understand business strategies Support in the development of medium and long term Strategies, ensuring commercial tension across all areas of spend Using stakeholder and supplier networks, identify continuous improvement and step-change opportunities to product and service specifications Own and embody the team’s values, including the promotion and embedding within the team Supporting financial reporting of cost improvement on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation and cash flow Operate agile and effective commercial processes Identification of global synergies This will specifically include: Supporting the creation of global Retail & Property commercial strategies identifying all sources of benefit short/mid and long term Develop and conduct Rfx’s for market activity ensuring size and complexity are fit for purpose Creation and buy in to key supplier management strategy to drive improved performance across the supply base Develop an understanding and knowledge of all industry specific technology solutions Become a “trusted advisor” member of the Retail community Maximise contract compliance and spend under management Specialist Skills and Experience: Commercial experience (including RFx execution, implementation and benefit delivery) TCO modelling to define optimal cost structures Excellent people and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation Highly organised Self-motivated and can-do attitude Qualifications Graduate calibre with Bachelor’s degree (desirable but not mandatory) Post-graduate qualification (e.g. MSc/MBA) or a professional qualification such as MCIPS is desirable but not essential Project Management qualification desirable but not essential Technically and commercially astute Additional Information At Entain, we know that signing top players requires a great starting package, and plenty of support to inspire peak performance.
