THE POSITION Consultants are integral to our team’s success. They are the backbone of our problem-solving engine because they work side by side with our clients to understand in detail what is needed to drive procurement and supply chain to the pinnacle of success. Our clients expect experts when they hire us, so we make sure every team member is equipped with this expertise from the very first handshake. Our successful candidates will work across a range of clients, projects, and industries and you will be closely involved in the day-to-day delivery of projects, participate, and contribute to the interaction with clients. You are required to demonstrate strong analytical skills, able to isolate key issues and draw sound conclusions from large volumes of data. Equally important is the ability to prioritise your own work producing required deliverables effectively, accurately and on time. Team work skills are essential, with the ability to support and take direction, as well as leading others. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with your clients and provide support for business development activities to build trusted relationships with our clients LOCATION Infosys Portland has offices that span APAC the US and the UK and we are currently seeking applications to join our London office. EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE NECESSARY Degree Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, Commerce, Law or Science Masters qualifications would be advantageous At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate or professional services environment Some experience in client or stakeholder management Analytically strong and tech-savvy Interest and capability in working with operational issues Confident ability to prioritise own work often within tight deadlines Ability to work in teams and take direction Advanced capability in tools including Excel with competencies in PowerBI, Tableau etc. viewed favourably Exposure to procurement or supply chain would be advantageous Experience within a leading consulting organisation would be advantageous Behaviours & Attributes Natural sense of curiosity Entrepreneurial spirit Results & outcome oriented Enthusiastic and able to drive own activities Excellent communication skills Time management skills Benefits: -25 days holiday excluding Bank Holiday’s Leave Year runs from April 1 to March 31 -Sick Pay -Employee discounts – Perk Box -Access to training platform for PD – Lex -Pension – employer contribution 3% employee contribution 5% - total 8% of designated banding -Free Parking – Birmingham only -Income Protection -Private Medical Insurance Scheme -Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
