NHS Shared Business Services are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Framework Auditor into the Revenue Operations - NCIS Audit Team. You will be highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continually develop and grow within the finance sector. The role will be ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a role that is focused on the core finance and accounting duties in relation to our rebate scheme for agreements with suppliers as well as administrative activities of the business. Vision - To safeguard revenue integrity identifying missing or undeclared sales and ensuring accurate, timely collection of receivables. Mission - To Provide independent assurance and actionable insights to detect revenue leakage, strengthen credit controls, and enhance financial accountability. This is a hybrid variable role with limited travel to our NW office in Salford. What you will be doing: Chase and recover missing or undeclared sales returns from suppliers Perform supplier audits using internal people and processes, and analyse the financial / contractual data Discussions with suppliers on “gaps” within the analysis, along with deep-dive of understanding on the complex frameworks due to variable NCIS rates, complicated supplier structure, high volume/value contract, complex market issues. Issue recovery actions and reconciliations, including dunning style letters and manage escalationsReduce revenue leakage and improve working capital Maintain the relevant NCIS Audit KPI’s to track performance Deputise on approval of NCIS Audit invoices weekly when required Leading and developing identified staff, coaching, mentoring and building their audit expertise. Alongside training, development and performance management. What you’ll bring: Knowledge of Procurement Frameworks and/or Category Management is essential You will be a talented, bright individual with a natural aptitude for finance, data, reporting and analysis Flexible and adaptable to cope with a fast-paced environment in a large organisation Strong IT skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and present variance analysis Ability to deal with conflict situations Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills It would be great if you had: Accounting/procurement qualification Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please do apply, we’d love to hear from you!
