Job Summary
We’re seeking a Procurement Generalist to join our Indirect Procurement team as an individual contributor, supporting key procurement activities including:
- Spend & contract analysis
- Cost modeling
- Vendor management
- Corporate cards & travel
This remote role (with a 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PST schedule) will:
- Serve as overflow support for functional leaders on the Indirect Procurement team.
- Provide planning, reporting, and operational support to the Head of Indirect Procurement.
- Manage a high volume of procurement activities while supporting cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder relationships.
The role requires accountability for delivering measurable value and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spend & Vendor Management
- Analyze vendor spend/account records and action recommendations
- Support commercial negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels
- Collaborate with Finance, Information Security, Legal, and other stakeholders for:
- Operational risk reviews
- Contract execution
- Adjacent scope activities
- Identify, track, and report savings and value-add opportunities

2. Strategic Projects & Process Improvement
- Lead stretch assignments to optimize and transform procurement processes
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into procurement strategies
- Use data-driven insights to inform procurement strategy
3. Accountability, Collaboration & Reporting
- Own performance goals tied to:
- Spend under management
- Savings targets
- Project completion success
- Work closely with internal (Finance, IT, Legal) and external (vendors, senior leadership) stakeholders to:
- Align procurement strategy
- Manage workflows
- Develop and present planned and ad hoc reports on:
- Procurement initiatives
- Spend trends
- Project status
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience, including 1+ year in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing.
- Direct experience using:
- Microsoft Office
- ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) for procurement support
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Supply Chain or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Procurement Professional) are a plus.
