Role: Procurement Lead

Ocean Infinity is seeking a Procurement Lead to set the direction, governance and performance of the procurement function within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Management, the role is a senior leadership position and a critical partner to Operations and Projects, enabling safe, reliable and cost-effective delivery across Ocean Infinity’s fast-paced maritime robotics environment.

The Procurement Lead is responsible for shaping and deploying procurement strategy, building strong governance and capability, and aligning procurement outcomes to business priorities, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements, and total cost of ownership objectives.

Sitting as part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team, the role balances strategic leadership with hands-on coaching on complex sourcing, negotiations and supplier performance.

Acting as the senior commercial partner to operational and project stakeholders, the Procurement Lead ensures early engagement, effective demand shaping and robust supplier and category strategies. The role leads and develops the procurement team (Senior Buyers and Buyers), embeds best practice across systems and processes, and drives continuous improvement, value delivery and risk mitigation across the supply base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
