A major financial services organisation is looking to appoint a senior Marketing Procurement professional to lead one of its most visible and commercially important areas of spend.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad Marketing portfolio spanning media, creative agencies, digital, production, customer communications, sponsorship, and marketing technology.
You will work closely with senior Marketing leaders to shape how the organisation engages its agency and supplier landscape, bringing greater commercial rigour without restricting creativity, speed, or innovation.
The role requires someone who understands that Marketing Procurement is about far more than running tenders and negotiating rates. You will need to understand agency operating models, challenge briefs constructively, assess the true value delivered by suppliers, and influence stakeholders who expect Procurement to operate as a genuine commercial partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
