About the Role

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Procurement Manager to join our global team and execute procurement strategy for a Financial & Professional Services Client.

The Procurement Manager will collaborate with the Client’s Procurement and Operations Team to meet procurement goals and objectives, ensuring adoption of best practices across service categories and procurement processes. The role delivers high performance standards, financial targets, cost efficiency, and resource efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have working knowledge of facility management sourcing (e.g., construction, building services like janitorial, grounds, mail room services, food services, waste management).
  • Experience in category management, supplier performance management, and e-procurement platforms. --Thrives in strong communication, financial analysis, and persuasive presentation skills to key stakeholders.

The successful individual will act as a subject matter expert in procurement for all related areas.


Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy

  • Develop and communicate a procurement vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with Client’s objectives.
  • Create and execute procurement plans across the UK & Ireland, informed by market dynamics, benchmarking, and cost analysis.
  • Implement innovation and best practices to improve service delivery.

Procurement Process & Delivery

  • Lead full-cycle procurement to meet financial and operational goals (e.g., savings, supplier rationalisation, diversity improvements).
  • Manage tendering processes, including:
    • Developing service scope and bid documents.
    • Evaluating bid responses and negotiating contracts.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and benchmarking.
  • Draft, negotiate, and implement contracts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure smooth transition of procurement initiatives, supporting supplier and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify cost savings and value-add opportunities.
  • Support Client’s diversity and sustainability goals.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Maintain and oversee a contracts database.
  • Ensure contractual compliance.
  • Develop and oversee category budgets.

Supplier Performance Management (SPM)

  • Work with key suppliers to improve performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement with suppliers to achieve cost reduction and value targets.
  • Monitor supplier KPIs and foster internal customer satisfaction through feedback mechanisms.
  • Organise Asset Supplier Performance Reviews and Supplier Business Reviews.

Savings Program Management

  • Track and report identification vs. actual savings.

Compliance & Systems Management

  • Ensure adherence to Client’s governance and compliance requirements.
  • Support implementation of new procurement systems and processes.
  • Compile and document Procurement Playbooks.
  • Lead legal/ethical compliance oversight for sourcing activities and supplier relationships.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Regularly report on supply chain KPIs (diversity, sustainability) and monthly savings.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports as required by the Client.
  • Complete additional assigned responsibilities.

A candidate must demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Analytical Rigour: Strong commercial acumen and track record of demonstrating substantial savings.
  • Decision-Making: Proficient analytical skills with a structured, measured approach.
  • Collaboration & Relationships: Collaborative mindset, balancing short-term demands with long-term relationship-building.
  • FM & Supply Chain Expertise: Deeper knowledge of facilities management services and supply chain operations.
  • Project Management: Skilled planner capable of multi-tasking effectively.
