Procurement Manager 📍 Bristol / Swindon (Hybrid) 💰 £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus

We're seeking an ambitious procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex sourcing and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a range of direct spend categories.
  • Manage supplier sourcing, selection, negotiation, and onboarding activities.
  • Support the flow-down of customer and contractual requirements throughout the supply chain.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements to deliver value and mitigate risk.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance, quality, and delivery expectations are achieved.
  • Support contract management activities throughout the supplier lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Programme teams to support business objectives.

About You

  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, or another highly regulated engineering environment.
  • Proven background in direct procurement and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and supplier agreements.
  • Good understanding of contractual flow-down requirements and supply chain compliance.
  • Experience managing suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-moving, evolving business environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
