Key Purpose of the Job
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities across the business, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services. The role focuses on developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, managing procurement budgets, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring procurement processes support project delivery and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement agreements.
- Source materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and company standards.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, purchase orders, approvals, and supplier onboarding.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and warehouse personnel to forecast procurement requirements and inventory needs.
- Oversee inventory control and stock management to reduce shortages, excess stock, and waste.
- Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor procurement budgets and prepare cost analysis and procurement reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant procurement regulations.
- Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks, including supplier dependency, delays, and market fluctuations.
- Manage and develop procurement team members, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and supplier performance management.

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using ERP and procurement management systems.
- Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, events, themed entertainment, or related industries is preferred.
- Proven track record of supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.
Other Skills
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
