Procurement Manager
Lead Position: Development into Senior Category Manager

This is a lead position looking to develop into a Senior Category Manager for the right candidate. Engages with internal and external stakeholders and leaders. Develops category strategies, implements and manages them to deliver their goals.
Manages teams on certain workstreams and initiatives, ensuring timely and expectant delivery, achievement of targets, and adherence to KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Category management
- Relationship management
- Supervising daily team activities and achieving agreed targets and objectives
- Due diligence and company/market understanding
- Value creation through process, performance, and commercial activities
- Developing and implementing plans and strategies
- Coordinating team activities and providing support
- Managing teams, driving performance and results, including performance management, technical development, and coaching
- Collaboratively working towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition
- Proactively identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery

Requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent)
- A level (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong negotiation skills
- Commercial acumen
