Procurement Manager - Clinical Laboratories
Join Our Client in Shaping the Future of Healthcare!
Are you passionate about procurement and looking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry? Our client is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager for Clinical Laboratories to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions while optimising procurement processes!

The Opportunity
As a key member of the Indirect Procurement Delivery group, you will play a vital role in managing procurement activities related to Clinical Laboratories. Your expertise will ensure the effective delivery of core services, supporting both operational and strategic sourcing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead and execute sourcing strategies that leverage spend and category knowledge.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to enhance service delivery and cost optimisation.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts effectively, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
- Project Management: Collaborate on customer-oriented projects, delivering innovative solutions that improve the buying experience.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Clinical Laboratories commodity area.

Who You Are
- Educational Background: You hold a university degree in business or a scientific discipline (e.g., Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry).
- Experience: Procurement experience in strategic sourcing, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Clinical Laboratories commodities (Genomics, Bioanalytics, etc.) and adjacent areas.
- Skills: Proficient in supplier management, contract negotiation, cost optimisation, and project management.
- Curiosity & Collaboration: You possess a curious mindset, demonstrating active listening and a willingness to innovate.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English at a business level.
