The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading UK membership organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager into a newly established standalone procurement function.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of procurement across the organisation, helping to shape strategy, strengthen governance, improve supplier performance and drive value for money. The organisation is currently undertaking a significant multi-year digital transformation programme, creating an exciting environment for a procurement professional looking to make a genuine impact.

Whether you are an experienced Procurement Manager or a senior procurement professional ready to step into your first management role, this position offers the opportunity to build capability, influence stakeholders and leave a lasting mark on the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate procurement activity across the organisation
  • Develop and embed procurement best practice, policies and governance
  • Support contract managers in effectively managing supplier relationships
  • Drive value-for-money initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead procurement activity for key business-critical contracts
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Provide commercial advice and challenge to support strategic decision-making
  • Support procurement activity linked to an ongoing digital transformation programme

About You

We are looking for a procurement professional who can combine strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or commercial management
  • Strong contract management and supplier relationship management experience
  • The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience delivering value-for-money and cost-saving initiatives
  • Strong governance and risk management awareness
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £53,592 - £60,535 FTE (dependent on experience)

Contract: Fixed-term until December 2027, with potential to become permanent

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
