We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager (m/f/d) to join our renowned client in Wales, UK, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities for major project packages.
  • Support procurement strategy, tendering, negotiation, award, and delivery.
  • Monitor contractor procurement performance and challenge gaps or delays.
  • Ensure procurement supports project schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Identify supplier risks, long-lead issues, cost exposure, and delivery delays early.
  • Provide clear reporting on procurement status, risks, actions, and decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, project controls, commercial, legal, and finance teams.

  • Minimum 15 years’ procurement experience on large capital projects.
  • Strong experience in lump-sum EPC project delivery.
  • Proven owner-side / client-side background.
  • Experience with major industrial, infrastructure, energy, process, cement, power, oil & gas, or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, expediting, supplier management, and contract close-out.
  • Ability to manage high-value packages, long-lead items, commercial risks, delays, claims, and supplier performance.
  • Must be located in the UK or able to start in the UK immediately.
